Anyone marrying/did marry a police officer?

Are they/did they use their police dress uniform? I like the idea...FH really likes the idea. What do you think? Any pictures?

I think it's a nice idea though I am not marrying a police officer nor do I know anyone who is.

I am marrying a corrections officer but he is not wearing his uniform. Instead he is wearing his sash and sword since he is a 4th degree knight in the Knights of Colombus. I'd prefer a plain tux but it makes him happy. As long as he doesn't try to cut the cake with the sword!

I am marrying a police officer and he isn't wearing his uniform, infact he says he doesn't want anything police related in the wedding

I'm marrying a police officer, though he'd argue and say, 'I'm a detective.'

He is absolutely not wearing his dress uniform and it was never a consideration.

We're both cops and I really wouldn't want anything to remind me of work at my wedding

But I think it would be a cute idea if you both wanted it - the pics would be cute...

he is really proud of becoming a police officer so he is really into it. He has come such a long way and he has really worked hard for this. He's not really a 'tux' type of guy...although I think he would look awsome in it. If I get to wear what i want, he should be allowed to do the same, right? People do this right? I have seen it done w/ military, i have never seenit w/ police.

My sister married a polica officer, and while he did not wear his uniform for the ceremony, they took pics ahead of time with him in it next to her with her white coat (she is a DR.) they came out REALLY cute!
