Are there any brides getting married at Land's End in Sayville? Or Brides that have already gotten married there?

Hey Ladies,
I am new to this thing, but I am getting married at Land's End on August 2nd in 2009, Are any of you getting married there or have already gotten married there? If so how was it?

Congrats! I just booked August 13, 2009 there!
It is such a beautiful place. I went to a wedding there a few years ago and it was by far the best wedding I have been to.
You definitely will not be disappointed!

Did you go to the food tasting on the 17th? We thought everything was amazing. What kind of centerpieces are you using? I want to get tall, because I feel like the ceiling is so high..

Nope, did not go to the food tasting. We will officially be booked next Tuesday and will be putting our deposit down and signing the contract then. So hopefully we will be able to attend the next food tasting.
How did the tasting work? Did they allow you to bring your parents with you?
Tall centerpieces will look amazing in there. I am looking into using tall centerpieces also, but don't have any ideas yet. Have you looked into any florists yet?
We just got engaged about a month ago, so all of this is still new to me! We are just trying to book all of our major vendors as soon as we can.

Your on! yay!!! this is awesome. umm i have seen Land's End on line and it looks amazing!!! dont worry about a thing ... you are getting married and its going to be awesome ... PS i have those FM entertainment papers and prices for you! (ill bring them friday)

I got married there in July and it was awesome The service was great, the food was beautifully presented and delicious, and the cake (Audrey's Bakery in Sayville) was the best wedding cake I ever tasted...I'm not just saying that because it was my wedding either I have had so many awful cakes!!!! We got so many compliments during and after our wedding. Congratulations...great choice

One of my BM got married there last year and the wedding was amazing. The food was sooo good and the Bridal Attendant was the best. She loved her wedding and couldnt say enough good things about her hall...very good choice

im getting married there! Mine is right after yours, August 16th. I loved it there and am really excited about it all coming together.

I went to my cousin's wedding there last year, in October, I have to say it was one of the best wedding's we've ever been to, the service was great, the food was delicious and the rooms were beautiful, you and fh made a great choice!!!

Thanks so much for all of your posts! I am glad to see that everyone thinks that it is such a great place! I am so excited to be getting marrried there and I will def be going to the bridal expo on the 26th. Does anyone know of a good photographer that is affordable?

I am going to Lands End today for a second look and possibly leaving a deposit for my 9-10-10 wedding...ahhhhh this is super exciting!

By the way I am using Flowers by Burton which I hear are the most affordable on the Island and they will give you any flower at the same price and photography by Infinity Photography, he is a really good friend of mine. If you are interested, let me know, I can get you a good deal. They have a website www.infinityphotographyinc.com

My friend got married there. Its a really nice place and the food is good. Because its by the water her wedding pics came out so nice!!

Getting Married there in July! Sooo excited, honestly it is so beautiful and Jennifer is wonderful to work with. She is very quick to respond and has an answer for EVERY question. The food tasting was amazing, we went in March! We went win my parents and FH's parents and all had a blast! I cannot wait for my day...its coming so fast!
