Atlantis Bahamas . . .
I had a big sweet 16 party when I turned 16, but my little sister has chosen to go on a vacation to Atlantis on Paradise Island instead!!! My parents are making this her big sweet 16 gift . . .I'm reallllllllllllllly excited because FH and I get to go and my parents are so generous that they are going to foot the entire hotel/airfare bill!I can't wait to go!!!!
May 21st!!!Oh, and I've never been - has anyone? FH has been there with his family when younger and loved it - he still talks about the Atlantis all the time . . ..

OMG..what a wonderful sweet 16! I was there when I was 16, as a vacation with my parents. The Atlantis has expanded since back then, but it was marvelous when I was there! It's so magnificent and fun. I loved walking through the fishtank tunnels and through caves with waterfalls. We had an all inclusive meal plan and ate at some amazing restaurants. At one of them, David Hasselhoff and his family were sitting next to us - we took a picture with him!

THAT'S SO COOOL.... OMG, there's fishtank tunnels and caves with waterfalls??? I'M SOOOOOOOOOOOO EXCITED!!!! I went to the Bahamas like once when I was about 10 years old, and it was as part of a Disney cruise, so this will pretty much be my first trip there!!! I CANNOT WAIT... fH and I are getting our stuff together to get passports as we speak!
Has anyone gone just using a birth certificate? Just wondering if we really need passports . . . .

when we were there we did the banana boat rides..it was like 8.00 for 15 minutes..so much fun..and great snorkling..I think the beach out does most of the other islands..the only thing that I found compares to it is costa maya mexico

Re: Atlantis Bahamas . . .
Be sure to go to Island Blue Lagoon. There you can swim or encounter with dolphins (if you like that sort of thing). We did it and LOVED IT. It was so much fun!!Also, if I remember correctly, Paradise Island has their own private beach....and they have their 'own' stingrays that swim in the ocean w/you....don't be scared, they don't bite. Just be calm and have fun.
HAVE A GREAT TIME
