Can I just tell you how dumb my poor kitty is?

So we drove to NY this past weekend for a birthday dinner for FH's grandmother. We left Sat morning, and were back Sun evening. So we figured that our cat would be fine with the weekend feeder and waterer, rather than make him ride in the car 5 hrs each way. We get home yesterday and find that the cat locked himself in the study! It must have been early on Saturday, because there was no mess by the feeder (he is a very messy eater), and most of the food was left. He was sooo lonely and hungry! My poor baby! Thankfully, he had his litter in the study so he could at least go to the bathroom!

My cat has locked himself in the cabinet under the sink many times. The one with the cleaners. They do it at one time or another.
