I was at the wedding...it was a very close friend of mine...

ETA: my DH's, my brothers & my parents keys were all taken...

my parents & i had extra keys to our cars so we just took them & drove people who were heading near us...i took my brother to his house so he could get keys & come back....i think WCC said they would pay to replace the keys & for cabs...those alarm things & microchip keys are $$$

The cops came & were verifying license & registrations of cars leaving.

wow. I hope they pay for keys! my ex a few years ago stole my car keys and not only did I need to get my car towed to the dealership which was like $80 then I needed a new key for about $175!

I'm just lucky my car wasn't too far from the dealership. I think most cars you need to bring to the dealership for them to make those microchip keys.

my best friends ex lost his keys after a little boat they were on sunk while fishing. he had a Lexus and it was like $500-$600 for a new key!

after all this I never leave my house keys with my car keys.

one of the million reasons FH wont use valet.

we hate valet parking too..they had no way around them...Dh even joked with the guy about getting his car back in one piece. For us it didn't ruin the wedding...we said we will all be laughing about this at the next family party....eveything else was great though..so don't stress if you're getting married there!!

This should NEVER happen! I am sorry but there is no way i would let them slide on something like this. There are problems with there parking company...people have said it in the past. I myself was at the last showcase and saw it first hand. They lost peoples keys. They need to address it with a statement and make changes so this never happens again. Total BS!
