check out our placecards, my favorite DIY **wih pics**

this is one of my favorite DIYs!!!

I got this idea from another bride on here a while back and KNEW i had to do it. My mom makes blueberry jam almost every year, we usually go blueberry picking upstate near my parents summer home. SO....this past summer (in July) my whole family and FH went uptstate and blueberry picking.

My mom made 175 mini jars of jam! (one per couple so we will have more than enough) i tied ribbons around all of them which i am very proud of. We are going to be writing couples names on the lid (using a computer program) with the table number in the center.

here is one jar


here is a sign i made with blueberry picking pics to display with the placecards....it says 'homemade blueberry jam made with love by the mother of the bride'


here is the sign on the stand i bought to display it on with one of the jam jars in front


and here is a zoom in of the center of frame


the florist will be makeing a CP of blueberry branches to display with these as well! I will post the final product (with the actual names on placecards) when they are finished
