Checks!!!

On Saturday I went to RK Bridal with my BMs to look for their dresses. We chose a dress; I like it and they like it as well. It is a Bari Jay dress. (I will post pics in my album - Bridal Party). My Maid of Honor also chose her dress which is also a Bari Jay dress. She plans on adding some embelishments to her dress since the BMs have some on their dress. I plan on going shopping with my Jr BMs and flower girls. My Matron of Honor also has to choose her dress.

I'm not sure if we will be ordering their dresses from RK Bridal. I'm still looking around for other bridal shops where they can get the dresses cheaper.

Today I booked Patken for photography. I love their work and I got a great deal! I had booked photography early on in my wedding planning (that was before I discovered LIW and how important it is to do research on vendors). I wasn't happy and I knew in my heart that I didn't make the right decision. But due to the cancellation fee we decided to stay with them. Last week after discussing it will a fellow 2013 bride I decided that it was best to cancel my contract. I called them and after discussing with them that I wanted to cancel they gave me back half of what we had paid them so far and the other half was given to us as a store credit. Today I met with Patken and booked with them. I am so happy now and I definitely know now that I made the right decision!!!
