Did he ever do something that made you really feel the love?

So, as a lot of you know, I had my endoscopy done this week, and one of Pete's kinda sorta friend killed himself this weekend (that was bad), so Pete was all freaked out thinking that I was going to leave him.

Anyway, I had the endoscopy done on Monday, and Tuesday I got really sick. When I got home on Tuesday after work, I called the gastroenterologist, and he told me to go to the emergency room & have bloodwork done & have x-rays brought up....

I told Pete it was nothing to worry about, and told him to stay home that I would call him if I needed him. About 2 hours after I got there I called him to tell him that I was still waiting to see a doctor.

then about an hour later, they finally brought me into a room to see a doctor..... i was sitting in the room by myself just sitting there FREEZING cuz they made me get naked pants up, and who walked in all freaked out telling me that he couldn't stay at home any more.... that he had to be with me....

i started crying..... it was just one of those moments where i felt the most pure, unconditional love i think i've ever felt in my life!

I didn't know you were going through all of that. I really do hope you are feeling better and that Pete finds condolences for his friend

I hope everything turns out okay with your tests. And to your question yes, I sustained a bad injury a few months ago and he came here from another state and took care of me for two weeks--dressed me, washed my feet, helped me in the bathroom. I even saw tears in his eyes so many times while he was watching trying to do simple things that were so painful. I am grateful that someone that I love so much loves me so much also. Sounds like you have the same bond with your FH. It is lovely.

even though the circumstances ****ed.... it was awesome to see how he felt! the cutest thing was that when the doctor said i could go home and didn't have to be admitted, he clapped his hands like a little kid & started giggling!

he was sooo cute! i love being in love!

Omg, Lisa.... I am soooo sorry that you had to go through that but how wonderful that Pete was so wonderful to you!!! What great character!!! There are sooo many women who don't have that at all!! You can't buy class like that!

Lisa-Rob was the same way when I was in the hospital last month. I remember seeing the concern in his eyes when I was in the ER and when I was admitted he would stay at my bedside each night until I was ready to fall asleep. He brought me cards from our dog to cheer me up. And since I was in the hospital right before Christmas, I didn't finish my Christmas shopping so he went out and did all the shopping for my family for me so I wouldn't have to do it when I came home and rush around. He also tried to clean the whole house before I came home since I am such a neatnik and wouldn't have had the energy to clean for a few days.

My FH does alot of things that make me feel the love all the time but one particular incident also unfortunately involved the hospital almost 2 years ago.

I has a seizure while I was on the phone with him. He was at his home & I was at mine. (30-45 minutes and about 30 miles away) He hung up & jumped in the car & raced out here. I wound up in the ER for 6-8 hrs. I kept telling him to go home because he had to be up early for work. He refused to leave saying he was calling in sick the next day (something he NEVER does unless he is VERY sick). When I was discharged we went back to my house got some stuff I needed and went to his place. We had to go to his place because he didn't know the # he had to call to call in because he never uses it. Anyway, all day the next day he barely left my side and took care of me.

One other time was this past August he was on vacation all week and I went in for elective ambulatory surgery. The day after the surgery I got sick with a respirtory infection and was sick all week. Again he took care of me. Ran to the store several times for me, made me soup, brought me flowers.

He is a Doll and I Love him SOOOOOOOOO Much!

He makes me homemade chicken soup from his mothers recipe when I am sick or even just have a cold. I always make sure to have a small chicken in the freezer, just in case.

So many times, I really am lucky. Three instances that come to mind are -

He came over with 2 huge of candy, chicken soup, hershey's hugs and kisses, and some activity books for me when I was sick.

He was BM at his brother's wedding last year. We were getting married 1 year and 1 week later. He wrote me this whole letter and gave it to me before the ceremony saying that while he is up there he is thinking of me and him being up there, how much he loves me and how happy he is.

Plus, after 9/11 (I work in NYC) he was so sweet and loving, it really made me 'feel the love' as you put it. We actually got engaged 2 weeks after 9/11 so in case anything else should happen, I would know exactly how he felt about me.

He really is such a sweetheart!
