digital camera help

i have a digital camera but its a little old now and it does not take great pics.
what digital camera would you recommend. we are going to tahiti and want to take really good pics.
also is it cheesy to put that on our fortunoff registries.

I just bought the Fuji F450. It's a 5.2 mp and it's really tiny. I think it was only about $300. Look on amazon.com you can normally get a better deal through them then you can at the store.

I have the Canon PowerShot SD550 and its amazing.
It's 7.1 megapixels and has a 2.5 inch LCD screen.
The other amazing thing about it is that its so light and compact.

If your going to buy a new camera, I would start looking at the 7 megapixel models and up. There only a few dollars more than the 5 megapixel models but well worth the money, especially if you want to print 8X10 photos.

The SD550 runs about $400, I also reccomend that you get at least a
512MB card, you can find really good deals on 1GB cards sometimes for about $50

I have the sony thin pocket one. I got it for xmas from my dad for th honeymoon i wanted a camer that would fit in my wristlet. I went for size

the zoom on the camera isnt far but the picture quality is amazing it is a 5.1.

I LOVE MINE!
