Do you ever forget to wear your e-ring?

I ask because I forgot today...and it's not the first time.

I admit that I'm pretty absent-minded and I forget to wear it at least once every two or three weeks.

Am I alone?

I forget to wear mine all of the time!! I take it off to shower in the morning and then I just forget about it

Ah, so I'm not alone!!!! I take it off to wash the dishes, and then if we run out....it's not on.

It actually feels pretty bare when I'm not wearing it.

Who would have thought ...I've spend 28 years without one.

Yep, I've done it a few times. I used to take it off when I showered but after forgetting to put it back on a few times, I decided to just wear it all the time - when I shower, wash dishes, etc. I did have the band resized slightly tighter so that there would be no chance of it coming off. I hated being ring-less on those days I left it behind!

Yes, I have forgotten a few times. Not fun when you live in a 5th floor walkup, and realize it when youre in the lobby!!

I never wear rings, so it was hard getting used to it.

This has happened to me if I'm running late for work in the morning...one time I was half way to my bus stop and realized I didn't have my ring on and went all the way home to get it. I felt 'naked' without it!!

I remember to put it on every day. FH puts it on me on the weekends.

Not me!!!! First of all, FH would KILL me if I left that thing in the apt all day and second of all I remember my watch and earrings and its right next to it so....OMG this is something we DONT have in common!

In the year that we have been engaged I have forgotten it at home twice now...and both times I was miserable. I take it off every night and put it with my other things so in the morning I can grab it with the watch and stuff...but I still forget every now and then.

I remember to wear it every day... The only times I forget- is if it is on the weekend, and I just throw on a sweatshirt, put my hair in a pony and quickly run to the store..

Forget it all the time. That is one of the reason that I had it insured.

Thats funny - I forgot mine this morning too so I had FH grab it and bring it with him to work. I'm going to pick it up at lunch so I have it for the GTG!

I haven't forgotten yet. (knock on wood)

The one day I didn't wear it (FI had it getting appraised) I felt very weird without it.

I forgot it too.. I felt soo horrible at first.. then I felt naked the entire day!

I used to all the time right after he proposed but now I feel naked without it.

I have forgotten it twice.

I have a rule though!!!

Either Turn around and go get it or if I am too far...call my mom and make sure she wears it. I have this weird theory that my house is going to burn and I am going to lose my e-ring because of the fire. So, I rather have someone wearing it outside of the house. When I am out of the house...MY RING NEEDS TO BE OUT!!!!

One time I forgot to put it on when I went to the store since I just got out of the shower. The only time I take it off is when I take a shower. I wash dishes with gloves so I even keep it on while I do dishes.

I'm in the same boat, I only wear jewerly when I'm going out or going to work, so I forget it on the weekends a lot

No, not yet. We got engaged while on vacation and I was too paranoid to take it off and put it down anywhere. Once I didn';t want to shower with it so I made FH hold it in his hand the entire time I showered. Instead of thinking it was weird he was grateful that I was so paranoid about taking it off.

Me too - it must be something in the air! Today is only the second time. Last time FH called me to ask if I forgot something. Today I called him to tell him I forgot it
