get angry/irritated/sad/annoyed LOL when DH goes out with the boys?? ...DH is out right now... and i just feel miserable without him

Sometimes....but thats only bc my friends are an hour away and sometimes IM too lazy too drive-so I sit home alone. But NOW im like hellyea you going out me too!

no....i actually like it. He doesn't do it all that much, but last night he actually went to Philadelphia to visit one of his best friends.

I had a blast by myself in the house.......kind of enjoyed the time....but i'm psyched for his return!

With that said, I can understand how you feel. Not jealous, just a little left out.

I'm always glad for him when he does get to go out with the guys, which is not nearly as often these days. Back when we were doing the long distance thing, it was tough though - he had a VERY active social life with lots of single guys...but the distance had everything to do with how sad it made me.

He's heading to Denver in October with a bunch of guys to see his Steelers play - and I'm more than happy for him! He was cute when he ran it by me though - thinking I might be upset now that we're married.

I think it's great for each person in a relationship to have their own 'things.' It's also very healthy, too.

I usually don't get angry. But when he tells me the day before he'll be out Friday night,making fantasy football picks, and I have to stay awake with our younger son, kinda pissed me off. Otherwise I don't mind at all.

DH used to go out every single Friday night with one of his guy friends to a bar a couple of blocks away. It always pissed me off for a few reasons. They would be drinking and he would stay out really late. Also, he would never ask me to go, even though I wouldn't have, it just seemed like I was unwelcome. Also, it was kind of set in stone. Like they HAD to go out at least once a week. Needless to say he DOES NOT do that anymore. It was so wrong on so many levels. I put my foot down and told him it was BS. So yes, I do know where you are coming from, though my circumstances might be different than yours.

heh, DH doesn't go out with the boys.... he's a shut-in...

usually we hang out with our friends together.... we strangly don't need that much 'space'. ... the only time we seperate is when we're at home alone... we go into our respective rooms, he plays games, and I chill with you guys or LIF and watch TV......
