Finally Booked our 1st Anniverary/Honeymoon!

I am so excited!
We postponed our Honeymoon to Italy last Sept. we have been going back and forth about going for our 1st anniversary. Last night we started looking online for flights etc. and found a great deal on British Air. My Husband just booked it! YEAH!!
I cant wait - we leave on the 15th one day after our 1st Anniversary.

I hope you have a great time celebrating your first anniversary and 'belated' honeymoon!!! I'm trying to plan a trip for my first anniversary in October, but unlike your husband, mine won't get on a plane!!!

Hey Fran,

We are also leaving on our 'Anniversary Honeymoon' this weekend. We canceled ours as well last year (9/15/01), and still are not comfortable going to the Canary Islands -- which is where our honeymoon was to be.

So we've booked a cruise and we leave this weekend -- so I can absolutely share your excitement to have your honeymoon trip just around the corner.

Fran and Stef

I hope that you both have a wonderful time on your belated honeymoon. We were married September 23rd and even though we did go away(to Canada) it was such a bad time that we didn't enjoy it as much as we had hoped. Several things that we had planned to do were canceled for security reasons and we just couldn't wait to get home. This year we are planning a trip to Bar Harbor, Maine and to the Mount Washington Valley in New Hampshire and we can't wait to go! We are considering this our do-over honeymoon.

I am also thinking of all the brides this year in September -- praying for safe times.

Let us all who had to cancel plans last year -- no matter when our wedding was -- have a great time and really enjoy all the blessings we have.

It sounds wonderful Fran!! I just booked our anniversary weekend also...nothing quite at exotic as yours...we are going to New Hope PA. We love that place...have been there before and can not wait to go back.
