Finding out taxes on a new home (not yet listed)

I know of a house in Lindenhurst that is going to go up for sale shortly - I was wondering can I call the town to find out what the taxes are just with the street address?

Is that public knowledge available to anyone? Would I call the town or the village?

TIA!
