First time home buyer? Want a grant to pay for closing costs?

We were forced to attend a first time home buyer seminar after our closing. It turned out to be a really helpful experience (not so much since we already closed) and it is free, and run by a not for profit group that counsels first time home buyers on special programs and grants eligible for first time home buyers. There are many grants between $5000-10000 available to pay for closing costs! I only wish we had known, but wanted to pass along the info. Link to organization .
