Re: Flower Petal Toss Question...

I bought silk flowers at Michael's. They smelled really funky and unfortunately, didn't know it until my wedding day. If you get silk from Michael's make sure you take a wiff first!

Re: Flower Petal Toss Question...

I think I'm going to use real ones. (My hall said it was ok too.)

I was going to have a flower girl put petals on the path before I walk down - but have heard terrible stories of brides slipping on them! So, I think I will just have them thrown at us after we're married.

Has anyone else heard (or witnessed) brides slipping on the petals?

Re: Flower Petal Toss Question...

Just check with your church and make sure there is not an additional clean-up fee. Some churches have that, no matter what you throw.

Re: Flower Petal Toss Question...

I'm using real ones. My florist threw them in for free and she got lavender rose petals becuase the flower girls dress is lavender.
