For Brides who went to Aruba - You dont need a passport right?
I went on Aruba.com and on this little checklist it said to bring your passport but then in the text, it said an original or goverment certified birth certificate with a photo ID was acceptable.Anyone have any info who has been there?
Thanks

I believe this year was the first year that Aruba required a passport. However, there are ways to get around that and I think providing a birth certificate with phot ID is one of them. If you want to check if this info is up to date, you can conbtact Aruba.com and ask them.

Hi. Great choice I love Aruba! I have been there 2 times and have stayed at the Marriott both times....And yes you do need a passport or a birth certificate. Have a blast! It's so clean and relaxing!!!

We used passports, because I think the travel agent told us we needed them. Get the passport and make your life easier- it's your honeymoon, why take any chances? You have plenty of time, and FYI, the Post office in the lower level of Roosevelt Field Shopping Center is open on Saturdays and they do passports.

Dh used his photo ID and a birth certificate.. we did not have any problems except for him getting lectured quite a few times as to why he should have a passport.

That's what me and FH will do. We were going to get passports last week but we got lazy (and cheap
) and I dont feel like spending $80 when honestly, I dont travel much now.

It is the absolute best form of ID to have. God forbid your wallet gets stolen or something you'll always have a no questions asked form of ID. DO IT!!I just got mine a few months ago and was kicking myself because it was so easy.
