That is one of the old Levit houses. My friend just bought one for under $400K too. Taxes can be lower on them. Personally, I don't like the layout of a Levit at all. Plenty of people do though!

you can do a lot with the levitt houses. i am in contract in one and although it doesnt have the vaulted ceilings i had in the house in queens i grew up in they are so easier fixed up. there are a few under 400 houses in levittown they just go really fast and you usually find the asking price if not a lil more. my mom has a levitt house and they have 5 bedrooms 1 full bath a laundry room and a large walk in closet upstairs and kitchen dining room living room and another full bath and another bedroom downstairs.
