now obviously you do them in your wedding colors but where are you going to put them after - what if your colors don't match your home decor?

Re: girls doing channa plaques

when ever we get a house were going to have a family room... and the walls will most likely be painted white so that all of our sports stuff can go up... so thats why i got the white background...

either that... OR... ive always loved red accent walls, i will put on that wall

Re: girls doing channa plaques

i actually did not do mine in my wedding colors. i went for more neutral colors (gray, black and white) because i wanted to be able to hang it wherever i want in my home without worrying about it matching.

my wedding colors are red, silver and black. while i love those colors for my wedding, i am pretty certain my walls will never go with those colors. so i decided to play it safe!

Re: girls doing channa plaques

I was thinking of having it made in neutral colors as well. Like ivory and brown maybe.

Re: girls doing channa plaques

i did mine in my wedding colors which are clashing pinks... i doubt any of my home decor is going to match a bright raspberry pink LOL... i plan on displaying it in a den or whatever hangout room we have (we have still yet to find a house)

Re: girls doing channa plaques

i DID NOT do them in my wedding colors! I figured that it could be an accent thing at the wedding and its gonna end up in my house for years and years and only at the wedding for a few hours! mine is in my album!

Re: girls doing channa plaques

I did mine in my wedding colors, red, silver, and black. But I have accents of red in my living room and kitchen, so it works well.

haha, i promise you i did not plan that. honestly, my wedding colors are not definite. the only one i am sure of is the red and the others i might change. i chose the plaque colors without even considering what wedding colors i had. i was moreso considering how it would look in my home.
