Honeymoon registry???
Has anyone done/or is doing this?? There is a site i found in a Consumer reports magazine.you have to pay $100 but it seems like it's worth it..honeymoon registry
what do you all think of this?

Ive seen those too. I thought it was a really cool idea, but then i started to ask friends what they thought and the they all said TACKY!

I think it's a great idea.I wouldn't include airfare, hotel & cash contributions (based on a sample I looked at) but I think gift certificates towards massages, room service, tours, etc are a great idea. IMO, no different then receiving a Bed Bath & Beyond gift certificate.
I think most people perceive it as asking for money which is why you will probably get a negative response.

The travel agency we booked our HM with said she can arrange a registry for us. Just have people call her and they can give money towards part of the HM. I don't think we will be doing this. It isn't really our style. But I don't think it's wrong, either.

i think its a good idea. I woudlnt do it because being the neither my FH nor i live on our own yet we need so much to get started. But I think its a great idea for people who live together for awhile and dont need so much!Welcome New Vendors
