i can't sleep cause i am freaking (update! it is fine:) ) thanks girls!

and it is quarter to 1 in the morning, there is NOTHING i can do about it now!!! (i tend to get like this though, where i freak and cant sleep...so never fear...nothing new!)

when i ordered my dresses and picked my BP dresses, I didnt yet have a rabbi to officiate our interfaith ceremony. My dress consultant told me that in many cases a long veil will be ok to cover my shoulders...well i NEVER THOUGH ABOUT MY GIRLS, i have them all wearing strapless dresses!!

i need to call my rabbi first thing in the morning and ask him about this! i am so worried he is going to tell me that htey girls have to wear shawls or soemthing....

Only if you are getting married in a strict temple and if it is an interfaith marriage, I think they would be lenient. Try to take some long deep breaths and get some sleep!

i have had a crazy night re: these dresses....as i have posted before...fsil hasnt responded to any calls/emails about getting me her measurements...FIL's were here this weekend and told me she is trying to lose weight...well THAT is why you get alterations!!! i mean HELLO i NEED to order these dresses or i am going ot have a NAKED bp!!!

Wow! you really have been keeping track! I have almost everything done. My makeup artist was my last booking tonight. Now I need the DRESS! I saw your posting on your bridesmaid issue. Remember it will be her problem in the end and she will have to pay for it in rush shipping charges

Oh wait, you have to order all of them together. Give her a deadline and tell her she will be dropped by that date. Get mean!

ok...i am officially going to bed now...but yes...we are giving her a deadline, we are going to actually tell her that if she for whatever reason doenst wnat to be in the wedding she doesnt need to give us a reason, just tell us beacuse she is holding us up (honestly...when i asked her, her response was uh.....sure, so i am not too worried if i hurt HER feelings!!)

forgive me that i come from the school of thought where sometimes you have to like people because you are stuck with them...but his fam has a hard time accepting me for reasons that are really beyond my control (and thier stupid reasons are things that are also very common in this day and age and should be no reason for them to make judgement based on!)

as for your planning, i was just catching up on here...been WAY to busy at work to even read, let alone post, so i saw everything at once...also whenever anyone responds to me i look at their profile to be sure i have the right person!! and i that si when i saw you are going to whitehouse...we are going to be there 17 days after it opens!!!

awwe don't worry beth!! at my friends wedding we had open shoulders and the rabbi never said a word.

if your rabbi has a problem i can reccomend the one my friend had. he was awesome! and really funny too lol.

What you could do, you get get them a shawl for the dress. THey could use the shawl to cover there shoulders during the ceramony.

At my best friend's wedding at Temple Beth Torah I didn't have my shoulders covered. I am sure everything will be fine.

You can order wraps from the bridal salon. My salon ordered a few yards of material and is making the wraps for me.

Also, since you, like me, are getting married in the Winter, wraps are a good idea so they don't freeze their butts off!

Not me, I need to cover my shoulders and so does all my bm's ( we are ALL in strapless0 and the church contract says ' No bare Shoulders' ..wAHHHHHHHHH

since we are getting married onsite...the girls can even wear their winter coats to the FH if they want!! they never have to go outside after we shouw up before hand :)

dm24, did you think of maybe having removable cap sleeves added? i saw someone do that and i thought it was the cutest thing...you couldn't even tell they were removable! she took them off for the reception.
