I just read that william hung got a record contract

....his album is due out next month.

WTF!! Don't get me wrong, I think his version (if you can call it that) of 'She Bangs' is hysterical....but a record deal?!

o yea, that is how things work nowadays....remember tom green had that bum is on your lips song.........record companies don't invest much so they will put out anyone who has a small following...........way to kill real musicians/artists

eta - I hope they at least put him in the aisle witht eh rest of the comedic albums...

this is my point exactly .. its funny , he makes me smile and laugh everytime i see him .. but really, I don't want to listen to an entire album of him sinking off key..

90% of his appeal was his little 'she bangs' dance, anyhow ....

In a way I find it a little cruel. I don't think that this poor kid realizes that people are cheering for him because he is amusingly untalented. I am also a frustrated artist. I know so many people who really are great singers and can't get record deals. It saddens me all around.

I agree. He orginally said he wasn't gonna perform on the Uncensored show they had last week bc he wasn't sure if people were making fun of him. I guess he got over it fast bc he did perform.
