I lost 5lbs!!!

I lost 5lbs!!!

woo hooo!!!

[happy dance]

I'm the heaviest I've ever been and started really working out again a few months ago
(I had spine surgery so it took a while for me to get strong/healed enough to exercise)

For the longest time, I would work out work out work out and only lose about 1lb before gaining it back again etc etc...

Since we decided to *up* our wedding date, I have been REALLY disciplined and ate right and ran everyday blah blah

and I am FINALLY seeing results!!!

I saw one of my old trainers at the gym the other night and he was like 'DAAAAAAAAAAAYYYUM, you have been going hard havent you?'

FINALLY noticible results

I started to get back pain and thought I may have pulled something.. It progressively got worse so my doctor sent me for an MRI... Turned out, I had a herniated disc and 2 tumors growing on my spinal cord...

I had them removed. (the tumors, the herniated disc is still there but not as painful as the tumors were)

Before i had my surgery, I was in a LOT of pain (pain killers didnt help b/c they were on my nerve.) and was losing most of the feeling in my legs, so I had to walk with a cane... It was AWFUL.

but once they were removed, all the pain went away...

now I have this gnarly scar down the length of my back, but tumor free!! =)))
