I need to dedicate a song to my bridesmaids....

I would like to surprise them Any suggestions? I need a song really meaningful telling them how much I love them and how important they are to me...thanks!! Jen

Jenn you took the words right outta my mouth - Queen. You can also do traditional chick anthems like 'I Will Survive' (try to forget what the song is about)...wanna hear dorky? My girls and I are going to do 'Man...I Feel Like A Woman' by Shania. If that isn't pure geekdom, I don't know what is...and yet I'm so excited about it!

I was at a wedding where the bride played 'These are the days' by Natlaie Merchant and I thought it was great

We are going to play 'Thank You for Being a Friend' (the theme song to Golden Girls) and dedicate it to all our friends. We thought that this song is a song that never heard at a wedding but 'That's What Friends Are For' is. No offense to those that are using it.

I think anytime during the reception is OK (after dinner) and all the girls could go up and either dance around or whatever................

i am thinking of doing 'remember me this way' from casper.

One of my bridesmaids is my sorority sister and that song means a lot to us because it has a relation to the sorority.

But I think I am going to do it for all of them

I am using 'These are The Days'-it was our college 'anthem' song and the night before graduation we must of played that song a million times standing in a circle, singing, and crying!

The song 'Friends' by Michael W. Smith is really pretty, I've heard it at a wedding before- but it does have a religious theme, so may or may not be what you are looking for. A cute idea that this same bride did at her wedding was play the song for the bridal party as a whole, and to make it entertaining for the whole audience to watch, we switched partners every 20 seconds or so. She just played the song sometime during the reception.

Thanks Ladies!! Keep those ideas coming. Karen, I am just gonna have a dedication to them during the reception...I will leave it up to the dj when he wants to play it. I'm every woman sounds good!
