Invisible Ink pens for invites
Just thought I'd throw this out there for all of you. I plan on numbering my response cards when they go out, just in case some people 'forget' to write their names. I knew they made these invisible ink pens but couldn't find them. They have them at AC Moore I know but they're never there when I go....so I just happened to see this this morning in the catalog and thought I'd pass it on for anyone else who was looking for them. The Container Store sell a set of 2 invisible ink pens that come attached to a blacklight on the cap (battery included) for super cheap. Only $4.99 for the set.Invisible Ink Pens

You know how on the RSVP cards there's the line where people write their names and then they check off whether they're attending or not? Well, after reading on the 07 boards MANY times about girls getting RSVPs back where people check off if they're coming, but forget (I have no idea how) to write who they are, alot of them numbered their RSVPs. For instance, you have your list of people, probably in excel so they're numbered. Every name corresponds with a number. You write that number in invisible ink (so they don't see what number they are/where they fall on your invite list) on the back of the response card so if you get one back with no name but it says their coming, you just look at the number and find the corresponding name on the list.
Was that too confusing??

Me too......I don't see how you could forget really, but obviously people do.
So, I figured better safe than sorry so if I get some RSVPs back and there's no name on them, I'll be prepared to figure out who they are....and then call them up and make fun of them for forgetting to write their names on my RSVPs.

Re: Invisible Ink pens for invites
See now I was gonna be ghetto about it and just write as tiny as i possibly can on the back of the response card in pencil, so its not noticable unless you stare

I was totally gonna do that too, but i figured it's $4.99, and you get two, so why not?
