Thats completely and udderly up to you...

For the first sonogram I took my DH (fiancee at the time) and had them print out a few copies and framed them and gave them to both of the 'grandmas'.... They loved it...

Re: IS IT OK TO TAKE FIANCE MOTHER AND FUTURE MOTHER-IN-LAW TO FIRST SONOGRAM?

My DH came with me for the first u/s. We also got pics & had them scanned & gave the pics to both grandma's. (The picture that the u/s comes on will eventually fade, so we had it scanned onto real photo paper)

Later on, I had my mom & sister come with me to an ob appt to hear the baby's heartbeat. They were so moved ... it was really a special moment for us all!

My parents came to the 20 week anatomy scan with DH and I. They loved it! The tech gave us a hard time about having so many people in the room but I just nicely and firmly explained that everyone was coming in and that was that.

its up to you, but if you dont want to go alone, and you are close to her, I dont see why not.

DH had to work for my first one, and my mom couldnt get out of work either so my Dad met me at the dr's office and he loved it! he was so amazed and looked so happy he said to the tech how they had nothing like this for me and my sister

Re: IS IT OK TO TAKE FIANCE MOTHER AND FUTURE MOTHER-IN-LAW TO FIRST SONOGRAM?

sure! why not? take who you want! as long as you feel close to that person...its a very personal moment - I enjoyed sharing it with my husband alone, and when we found at the sex it was so special.

But if you feel close to that person then by all means!
