Just a suggestion-photo lists

I just wanted to share something our photographer did, that we really liked--

We did not want table pictures done, just a personal preference. But what our photographer did, was take pictures of different groups of people at the tables, mostly couples, some groups of mine and his friends. They came out really nice, and I thought they were much more useful than having whole table pictures, which we would never put in our album anyway. Now we have some really great shots of our friends to hang on to.

That sounds nice, did you tell him who you wanted or he just grouped people together?

we didn't tell her anything specifically, but she ended up getting a lot of our friends who are in couples. many of the pictures were just couples, which was really cute to see when we got back the proofs, since we didn't think there would be many of our friends in our pictures who were not in our bridal party. we were wrong!

That's a great idea! I'll definitely tell her to try to get as many as poss.!

I like that idea better than each table having their own cameras also! Only because not all those shots will be good ones, they might be of nothing. I want to be able to capture all different parts of my wedding and I won't be able to be everywhere all the time so this will help guarantee me good shots of guests and things that went on that I didn't get ot see! Thanks for the info
