KLEINFELDS BLOWOUT SALE YESTERDAY
So my mom and I were told about Kleinfelds blowout sale and at the last minute, I took off of work and we decided to go.I was so nervous because of my awful dream but I decided to go for the experience. The day started off horribly. I forgot my gown inspiration pictures, my phone charger and my WALLET. My dad had to drive and meet my mom and I at the train station. Ugh, my phone was dying and I pleaded with it to hold on!
By the time we got there, there were a good amount of girls there but not as many as I expected since we got there around nine.
The weirdest thing is the bride in front of me had the same wedding date!!!
It was so bizarre! Anyway, I was too nervous to eat so I ate some triscuits and a coffee (don't do this). They gave numbers out around 11 and my mom and I spent the day shopping (woo hoo, new jeans!) and came back at 2. There were already a mass of girls waiting and some confusion when they told us to 'Get in line in numerical order.'
This resulted in little groups of girls in numerical order. There was one lady (customer, not kleinfeld) who started yelling at everyone and b^chin. She had #40 somehting so I told her to get in front of the group I was in. She replies, 'I'm NOT moving up when there are MORE people in front of me, it doesn't make any sense!'WOW. The girls around me looked at eachother like W T H is her deal? I said “What a cranky pants!” She grumbles, “I am NOT a cranky pants!” Lol, isn’t that exactly what a cranky pants would say?
Anyway, I finally made it inside and my phone died so I have no pics of me trying on dresses…SOOO UPSET!!!! But it was such a fun experience seeing so many brides trying on gowns. And I tried on this gown and it looked AMAZINNGG!!! I totally didn’t expect to like it but it was awesome.
Didn’t say yes though but got me pumped to try on lots more. Randy was a sweetheart and gave advice to all the ladies. I easily fit into the samples unlike in my nightmare and I looked dam n good!
Only thing is, the two dresses that I liked were in GREAT condition but most were not. The ones that were beat up were the ones deeply discounted. Still, lots of fun. I think they do it 4 times a year so if you get a chance, go!
Side note: my mom kept calling 'mermaid' dresses 'Little Mermaid' dresses in her asian accent. It cracked me up. She also is into American Idol now and kept thinking she saw Randy Jackson.

Didnt you make an appointment with Kleinfelds awhile ago too?
yep, for august 8th! It's a sample sale and this blowout sale is different since they don't take appointments. COmpletely spontaneous since aug 8th is still far away!!!
I am still going to go to that one but will shop around before then too

I knowww, i need to find it soon!! THe days are ticking away!
My mom was really cute and we had chipotle and beer afterwards and she kept saying how good it was! I need to take her to the city more often

You should try it on, I think it's called Perla D by pnina tornai. It's on their site and it really was gorgeous on!
