The Bed, Bath, and Beyond in Westbury is nice. I had a good experience recently registering there.

Re: Macys and Bed Bath and Beyond Locations

I went to Macys in Manhasset, Roosevelt Field, and Green Acres and the best had to be Manhasset, but Roosevelt Field was a close second.

The only BBB I went to was Westbury and I had no complaints. The girls there were very nice and helpful. The only thing that bothers me is that you have to get a print out of the registry at the counter. I was trying to ask the woman a question and this old hag kept on talking while I was talking to the woman and shouting out 'I need a registry for so and so' Freakin old people! I was there first!! The woman was so sweet and helped us both out at the same time.

Re: Macys and Bed Bath and Beyond Locations

I just registered in those two places this past weekend!!

The BBB in Westbury is HUGE and it took us 5hrs to go through the entire store!!! They have everything imaginable and even more on their website to add later on. The employees there were most helpful and they don't work on commission so I was surprised when random employees came by to see how we were doing and if we had questions on items. I highly recommend that location!

Down the Block is the Macy's at Roosevelt Field Mall... Again, the associate there was wonderful and she explained thoroughly all the perks to registering at Macys. She too came by once or twice to see how we were doing. This store is also one of the bigger Macy's on the island and they have tons of stuff online as well. Only you can't see your online account until 3 days later. It took us like 3hrs here!!!

Both locations even went over the registries with us at the end and they made helpful comments on items we picked which I found good b/c I didn't realize certain things about the items when I registered.

My only comment....almost Everything we registerd for in Macy's was in BBB for much cheaper. Don't get me wrong, there are a few items BBB didn't have, but for the most part my Macy's list dwindled down to <1/2 of what it started at after going to BBB. I would say if you want to keep costs down for your guests, start in BBB and then go to Macys, just my opion though
