Massapequa Starter home
Massapequa School District tooLooks like it needs everything, but it would be liveable. If someone is willing to invest the time and money, I bet this house could be something to turn around and make some money off of...Or to stay in and live there...

Actually those taxes are VERY low. We have a similar size property and pay the same in Suffolk! Massapequa (NOT BY THE WATER) has a relatively low tax base (especially from the school taxes) compared to many many other desirable areas in Nassau!!!

Re: Massapequa Starter home
The taxes are very low. It is on a semi busy street through (seaford ave) that people use to cut through from merrick to sunrise. I cut down that road every day as does my Mom.

Re: Massapequa Starter home
The mall probably helps keep the taxes down, I would guess. I know my godmother (in a huge house in Garden City) has surprisingly low taxes in part because of Roos. Field.
