Music for Cocktail hour

Does anyone know of a steel band, or a twopiece instrumental, or even a great piano player that would be able to play for an hour during our cocktail hour? Any help is MUCH appreciated... Thanks, Jeanine

ALOT OF BRIDES HAVE SITTER FOR THAT REASON. BUT IF YOU CAN, TELL THEM THAT YOU CAN SET UP A SITTER FOR THEM (WHEREVER THERE STAYING) THE SAME TIME AS THE WEDDINGS IS. BLACK TIE! SOME PEOPLE NEVER UNDERSTAND "NO CHILDERN" MY OWN THOUGHT IS ONE CHILD IS TOO MANY WHEN I DONT WANT ANY THERE. I'M TRUELY INTO KIDS BUT THERES A TIME 4 EVRETHING. SOME BRIDES REGRETED NOT HAVING THE KIDS THERE AND SOME REGRETED THAT THEY DID INVITE KIDS AND SOME WERE VERY HAPPY WITH THERE FIRST CHOICE. I FEEL FOR YOU!

Hello All!!

I'm also looking for a piano player for my cocktail hour. Any help is greatly appreciated!

FLATS ARE A GOOD IDEA! BUT MAKE SURE YOUR BUSEL BUTTON/SNAPPS/HOOKS ARE HIGHER. 2INCHES IS ALOT OF DRESS TO BE DRAGING ON THE FLOOR. : )

We hired Peter Howard Cassical Ensembles for two hours: before the ceremony while guests are arriving, during the ceremony and for the cocktail hour. (516)625-3436 You can hire any # of instruments you like from 1 up to whatever and in any combination you choose. They sent me a demo tape and I just loved them. They also have singers and small bands. Hope this helps.stacy

Stacy, I am considering PHCE for my wedding...I have the CD and love them! If I may be so bold to ask, how much are you paying them? What pieces are you getting? I also want them for 2 hours, and I've seen a few different prices quoted from them on here...Thanks...Lisa

I am not worried! We have Buddy Marino on our side!

TRY THE JULIARD SCHOOL OF MUSIC OR THE MANHATTAN SCHOOL OF MUSIC OR A LOCAL COLLEGE OR MUSIC SCHOOL NEAR YOU.

YES THERE SHOULD BE A RETURN ADDRESS ON THE OUTER ENVELOPE-- I WENT TO THE POST OFFICE TO HAVE MY INVITATIONS STAMPED BUT THE CLERK MISSED ONE OF THE OVERSEAS INVITATIONS, WITHOUT THE RETURN ADDRESS WHO KNOWS WHERE THE INVITE WOULD HAVE ENDED UP. NOT TO MENTION THE EMBARASSMENT AND CONFUSION BY BOTH ME AND THE SNUBBED (UNINTENTINALLY) RECIPIENT.

Thanks all.
