need help w/flowers! please post!

need help w/flowers! please post!

okay ladies... here's my BM dresses.

They will be black w/ a blue ribbon. I need help on flowers. My MOH thinks they should have these flowers...


But i think these bouquets would compliment the dresses better. Either all blue or add in some purples to really draw the blue out.




What do you girls think? Do you have to coordinate the BM's flowers and the boutonierre's? My MOH says that if the guys have white roses for boutonierre's... then we should have some white in the bouquets. Is this true?

I like the 2nd pic that you posted. If you really are worried about the guys and girls matching, your guys could wear a white rose with a small amount of blue hydrangea around it. I have seen pics and it looks really nice.

I like the first one best but if it's going to be carried with a black dress, definitely go with the 2nd one!

I love the third one! Flowers dont always match so the mix of colors (even if you did the first one) won't draw as much attention to that fact as a solid bok...my advice-talk to your florist-they may suggest things you never thought of- mine did and I'm very happy. Let the flower pros advise you-bring pics and swatches for them- you don't have to match everything together.

I really like the 2nd one for your girls the 1st one looks like it would be more for a bride! Very pretty dress!

Thanks for the advice and i will!

But if my BM's are wearing a black dress w/a blue ribbon... won't the first bouquet (with the white in it) clash?

Also the florist will make the guys flowers to match the girls flowers...they usually use similar shades and colors in the guys or even take one main flower from the girls bouquets and add some smaller accent flowers to it!
