Not wedding related-graduation gift for my sister

Does anyone have any ideas what I should give my sister for her college graduation? I don't want to spend over $100 but I am looking for something memorable and lasting. Any ideas are helpful! Thank you all.

How about a silver key ring from Tiffany's (under 100, but still very special). You could then write a little something that includes 'you know hold the key to your future...use it well...' Good luck!

Not wedding related-graduation gift for my sister

My mom is working on getting her diploma framed. She did for me so I know she will take care of my sis. The key thing is very nice, but my sister is a 'I have something today, lost tomorrow' kind of person so I know that would end up under her bed somewhere! Since Marnles mentioned Tiffany's I actually thought of the Elsa Perrini heart with chain in sterling silver. Sister mentioned she liked it and I know she won't lose that b/c its jewelry. Does anyone know the price on this? I think they have different sizes too. Thank you for your info!

Tiffany gifts

The Tiffany braclet is about $125. The necklace is around that price, or just a bit higher I think. You can order it online from their site too. I have the braclet and totally love it. I think it is a beautiful grad. gift. There is nothing better than getting the little blue box :)

Tiffany gifts

I have the medium sized silver Elsa Peretti floating heart necklace. It was $110. Speaking of which... the silver has yellowed. Does anyone know why or how I can fix it?

I say return it. They will be more than happy to help you on it. A friend's ring had the same problem and she had no problem exchanging it.

Tiffany silver is usually amazing

I am so surprised that you have a problem with it. I would return it asap. I have a few pieces and they are still perfect, some after 15 years.

I agree with you, which is why I'm wondering if I did something wrong. I think I will return it... I love my necklace, and I'm so sad I can't wear it. : (

Tiffany gifts-silver-no hottubs!

I've had bad experiences with their silver. I wore it in a hot tub for less then one min. and now it looks like a black rust chain. (necklace and 2 braclets) so don't make that mistake. They will not take it back. They tried to clean it (for a small fee) but it's ruined. Don't make the same mistake as me.

I appreciate your help, but I haven't been near a hot tub. I did acidentally wear my necklace in the shower once... could that be it? The silver is yellowish ~ not pretty! : (
