now i know you all would care, why doesn't my friend feel its not good her wedding is in three weeks and we have no dresses still??
it is beginning to look like i will be pinning myself or grabbing a dress out of my own closet....she is not even phased and david's bridal won't give me info when i call b/c 'i am not the birde' (no, i just paid for the thing!!!)

Ok, this is not the most honest thing, but if worse comes to worse and she just doesn't get her act together, and seeing you've already PAID for the damn thing, I'd call as the 'bride' and find out what the hell is going on.

Maybe your friend is just really busy and has a lot of other things on her plate and mind.
