NWR- Generic BirthControl Pills

Yesterday I went to CVS to pick up my new pack and they gave me the new generic for YAZ.

Is anyone on a generic of BC? Did you notice a difference?

I shouldn't be worried or anything right? It is the same right?

I am gonna call my doctor tomorrow to check but I still curious about it

I was given the generic version of Ortho Low and I didnt like it. I felt like my hormones were all outta whack and I just didnt feel like myself on it. Unfortunately at the time thats what my insurance company was going to cover so I just went off the pill.

From what I heard everyone reacts to generic brands differently, but thats my story.

I'm on the generic brand of Loestrine. I haven't noticed any problems.

Generic of Orthro Tri Cyclen - Trinessa.. I never felt any side symptoms.. It has been great.

I was on the brand name Yasmin and switched to generic and noticed no problems. I'm now on the generic version of Mircette and have noticed no problems.

I was on a generic brand of ortho low and hated it...i then went on another generic brand, microgestin, and really enjoyed it.

I'm on that too, but I've been on the generic since I've started, so I wouldn't know the difference

I had a really hard time adjusting to the generic versions. My mood swings went nuts and my body was all out of wack, my periods were off and I gained weight that I could not lose for anything. As soon as I got off I was so much better. I tried 3 different generics for Ortho Tri Cyclen lo and I had problems with all 3

My friend used to work testing generics. She said they are not the same thing and you are more likely to have bad side effects from generics then the real thing. But if a generic is available it probably means your health insurance won't cover the real thing anymore, meaning you would have to pay more a month to have what you want.

I was on a generic brand for awhile, there was no difference with me. Had all the same bad side effects both times.

Yaz caused me to get REAL sick 3 years into it. I still have problems because of it but it's not one of the things listed that people are suing for-yet.
Can you try a different one?
I tell everyone to go off of it.
