Official Irish Brides Thread

I see that a lot of us are either using the theme or incorperating some touches to our wedding. Thought we could share ideas. I know there was an old thread but I figured we could start a new one! Our theme is Ireland, kinda more so the knot theme (I guess) I used a celtic font on the invites and programs along with some knots throughout. We are having a bagpiper, I had a horseshoe embroidered onto the label that will be sewn into my dress, plan on having a sixpence in my shoe, a trinity cake topper. Can't think of anything else now, what are you girls doing?

There is a thread that we started just last year... there are some great ideas there, I promise!!! and a lot of us on it are actually Irish (like from Ireland or parents from Ireland) so the ideas are authentic too! :) Feel free to FM me or read my review... I had many Irish touches to my day!

Re: Official Irish Brides Thread

I'm getting married in Ireland! but I'm not really going with an Irish theme. I will be having Irish dancers perform and I am presenting my mother and my aunt who is like a mother to me with bouquets during the toasts (Irish tradition).

I saw all your DIYs and love them! Great job!!!!!
