OH the drama just can not be avoided.. i need to vent

So my sister is planning my BP, which is saturday, and she tells me my fsil is not coming... from the way i she told me it sounded like something happened.... and so i told my fh that there may have been words exchanged between my sis and fsil.... so he calls his sister and she says that she knows nothing about the BP.... So i call my sister and tell her she needs to invite her and she tells me she did and that she was told no by her... so now who do i believe, the one who says she did the inviting or the one who says she hasnt heard a word.... you know, i made up until 31 days before the wedding for the drama to start.... i was hoping to avoid it all together.....

well, one way to find out. call your fsil and invite her yourself

That stinks Alex!! There is so much stress and drama that goes along with wedding planning, I think alot of just wish we would of eloped.
Call FSIL and invite her yourself. Tell her that you really want her to come, and its important to you. If she was never invited, she might feel stupid.
Would your sister lie to you??

well, one way to find out. call your fsil and invite her yourself

The drama can't be avoided, my mother always told me weddings bring drama all in all its your day dont let other people stress you out.... Anyway do the inviting yourself.

I think that is what i am going to end up doing.... though i asked my matron of honor to call her since she has a better way of handling things then my sis

what is it about weddings that brings the cattiness out?! does you sis not like your FSIL or vice versa? any previous bad blood between the two?

let's hope that whatever issues they may have....they can simmer and realize it's YOUR BP part, and you should have fun!!

You know, it just gets better and better, now my brother (the BM) is fighting with my FBIL over the BP.... i should have eloped....
The problem with my FH family is that they are annoyed because my siblings are all in the wedding party and they are not... however my brothers are all in the Fire House with my FH and i have one sister, so what do they expect... his brother didnt even call him when he was in the hospital last week.... but so he, i think, is bitter about that... and my fsil i think is upset because i have my brothers wives in my wp and not them.... it is all cattiness..... whatever, i can not be bothered... i have 3 exams to write this week....
