OOT Hotels--Islip Area
I'm trying to choose an OOT guest hotel in the Islip area. So far my top two choices are The Hilton Garden Inn in Ronkonkoma and the Hyatt Regency Wind Watch in Hauppauge. Have any of you used these hotels? If so, please share your experiences. Thanks!

I'm using the Marriot of Islandia. I'm getting married in Oakdale. I think they've been great so far to work with.

We used the Hilton Garden Inn and the Holiday Inn - No rpoblems at either place. Both of them were really close and convenient!

We blocked rooms at the Hyatt, nicest rooms in the area I think, plus its a place WE would like to stay. This way we can party with our guests and still have a lovely room to go back to for just us!

Re: OOT Hotels--Islip Area
I was concerned that the Hyatt makes you assume some financial risk. They told me that if you block 25 or more rooms you have to guarantee that 80% of them are booked. What do you think of this? So far it's the only hotel I've heard of that makes you do this, even though I agree it's the fanciest. They also gave me a rate of $159 a night for an August wedding--was your rate comparable?

I am trying to find a hotel for us and our out of town guests. I would like a shuttle from the hotel to TPCC so our guests can party and not have to worry about driving. Any suggestions?

we are using the holiday inn express on the expressway. I am not sure of the town, but they have a shuttle. I love that!

I am using the Hilton Garden Inn! So far Christina, the sales coordinator, has been a doll, and I think it's really nice. My guests are only paying $89 and I seriously think it's a very nice hotel (and I am picky!) Check out the pics on their website and good luck!Welcome New Vendors
