Photography Question

Ok ladies I am totally lost!

I am going to book Duet tonight (YAY!), but I am unsure of how many portraits to try to get in my contract now. Do you give a 5X7 to everyone in your bridal party? I have 18 people plus 2 flowergirls and 1 ring bearer in my BP. Granted there are a few couples and the kids's parents are in the bridal party, but that is still about 15 photos. Also, is that pic a pic of the bridal party or of me and FH?

PLUS, I need a 5X7 for my grandmas. Should I also be asking for my aunts and uncles (A portrait of me and FH)? We have a large family and this could get out of hand. I am not sure how much Duet will throw into the package. I was thinking of buying the CD and then I can always make my own 5X7s...

Sorry for all the questions, but this is confusing!!

Wow good questions I didn't know that you had to buy those pics for everyone. I'm using Gray studios and he posts his pics online so that I can just give the code to my friends and family. I was just going to let everyone buy whatever they wanted. AHHHH another thing to think about

I did not think it was done anymore (buying pics for your BP), but two of my cousins said it is (and they are both in my BP). I wasn't going to do it, but if people were 'expecting' them I wasn't sure. Way too much to think about when you have a big family - or any size family for that matter!!

I dont know how DUET does it - but my brother got married two yrs ago and what he did for the BP was that they made a little book - and it was composed of a whole bunch of pics (the book was like 5X5) so it had the bridal party walking in, pictures of the bride and groom, etc. etc ... and they were some pages with pics overlapping. It was cute - and different.

As for the portraits - I would get them for my parents, in-laws and then grandmas - aunts and uncles starts to get a little out of hand - in my opinion - no offense to anyone.

i didnt book duet but we are getting a number of larger pictures and will divide these amongst our closer relatives besided are parents who get their own albums .. good luck
