picture frames on the table at reception...

FH and I were thinking about displaying pictures of us as kids on the tables. For those of you who have done this, did it interfere with the centerpieces? We are having 3 smaller centerpieces of roses, rose petals and 6 votives at each table...is this overkill?

i love the idea but i hate cluttered tables...looks messy to a clean freak like me so i think we are going to put together a big picture frame with a collage of pics fo everyone to gander at during the cocktail hour

maybe we will do more than one so it doesnt get too crowded

i got the idea from someone on this site

I was thinking of decapaging (sp?) picture frames with scraps from my wedding magazines. I was gunna do it for table numbers but FH canned the idea.

But it may be cute with your idea

Yea, I'm going to do the colage too at the cocktail hour but another girl I saw on this site (sorry, I can't remember who) had taken pictures of herself and/or her FH holding signs of the table number and putting those in a picture frame. I attached it below because I am considering using it. Sorry for the copywright infringement bride who is using it

I thought about doing this for the cocktail hour. I nixed it for the reception dinner because I wanted a frame that people could see from all angles (front and sides). But when I was thinking about this idea, the frames were the focal point of the CP. I think with the flowers and everything else that it may be overkill.
