Re: Placecards VS. Framed Chart???
Honestly my friend had the frame & I found it very confusing & people were crowded around it for a while & it took some time for people to find their name b/c there was a glare on the frame. Although I thought it was really nice I prefer the placecards--easier to find your name.

Re: Placecards VS. Framed Chart???
my ex sister in law had the big frame. It is beautiful but everyone crowds around. Also you spend all that money for nothing your guest can't keep nor you.

Re: Placecards VS. Framed Chart???
I didn't even think about the crowding around problem. Good point...I'll stick with the placecards. Thanks!

Re: Placecards VS. Framed Chart???
I would have liked the framed chart. a friend of mine had this done for her wedding and it looked beautiful!!!!!!but I am going with traditional placecards that I started making yesterday, with a little bit of my Fall theme as a touch

Re: Placecards VS. Framed Chart???
You can keep the framed chart and it is a lovely keepsake. One hall that I looked at included it, plus they would have had attendants with lists to inform people of where their seats are.
When I decided not to get married at the place that included it, I looked into getting it done anyway. It turned out to be quite expensive, but maybe not more than getting hand calligraphy on placecards.
I LOVE the idea but I decided to have place cards in little envelopes and I think it will cost a little less.

Re: Placecards VS. Framed Chart???
They do make non glare glass and you can put 3 or four on a table depending on the amount of guests. Larger/legible font will help too.

I was going w/the frame idea, I'll get three or four silver frames and put the guests names in alpha order.....this may change b/c I still need to find the frames!

Re: Placecards VS. Framed Chart???
Nothing beats the traditional placecards. Plus people can hold them as they look for their table.I like also the framed display of placecards with them held on with ribbon. That way it's displayed pretty but they can remove their name.
