Please help!! I can't decide on my bridal party!!

Hi!! I'm getting married in August and I have still not decided who I should have in my bridal party!! All I know is that I am having my 2 sisters and a flowergirl. I have 3 very close friends who I would love to be in our wedding, and on the other hand I have 3 close cousins also. I was in one of my cousin's wedding 2 yrs ago, and my sis had them in her wedding this past August. So I kinda feel like I should have them as well. I don't want to hurt anyone or offend anyone either! What should I do? Thanks a lot

Hi.

One thing I have learned in life and in this wedding planning process is that you cannot please everyone and someone is going to be offended.

Firstly your wedding is a major event. Those in your wedding party should be:

1: people you care about
2: People you can count on.

Don't just put people in out of obligation.
Being in a wedding is alot of work and it takes huge commitment and you want people in it that are capable of these things.

I am having only a MOH and a flower girl and ring bearer. We are also having a Bm and 4 groomsmen.

I only wanted one female attendant, and that person I can count on 150%.

Once again it is your wedding and YOU have to be happy.

consider yourself lucky to have both 3 close cousins and 3 close friends. if you want them all in your bridal party then do it - dont let the 'big number' scare you away.

i am having 9 girls (7 friends + FH's 2 sisters) and even though some people consider that number to be 'appalling', i consider myself very fortunate to have such wonderful people in my life.

as nrvbrd said, do what makes you happy!

I also echo everyone's sentiments.....Do what you feel is happy!! I have 12 bridesmaids and 5 flowergirls!! and it was a atough decision.. but each and every one of those 12 girls mean the world to me and are my closest friends/family...
