Re: Please say a prayer
Thank you ladies for your prayer. Please keep my family in your prayers. Here are the updates.I saw my MIL on Friday and she is not doing very well. She had a mild stroke last year, which she never fully recovered from. She now is very weak and is not able to keep any food down. They know she has gallstones, which has to be removed; however she is too weak for the surgery. In addition, her blood pressure and sugar level is fluctuating; and they are checking her heart.
I spoke to my mother on Frida. My family spent the night at the hospital on Thursday because the doctors didn't think she was going to make it through the night. Friday she felt a little better, however she has been asking to see her grandchildren. I immediately decided to drive to NY to see her. My grandmother is double amputee due to diabetes, and she also has heart problems. The doctors say she has internal bleeding, low blood pressure and a possible clog to her heart. She has refused any invasive surgery, and she is very weak because she is not able to eat much. I cried so much when I saw her because she says she is ready to go. I also cried for my grandfather. I was shocked to see how old and weak he looks. He was crying so much for his wife. Even though I wish she could be with us forever, I don’t want her to suffer. I just pray that when the lord is ready to take her, she will know that she is loved and respected, and that we will miss her.
