~*~QOTD - MONDAY~*~
I accidentally hit enter on my computer instead of 'Shift' so that's why there are 7 million posts...sorry
I also posted this early because as I stated earlier I won't wake up until after noon.
Okay So Question of the Day is........
What are your Wedding Colors and Why did you choose them?
FH & I are doing Black & White Only. FH & I are always wearing black in the winter and in the summer we are always in white.
I think all white with black accents looks classic and formal which will also help us set the tone.

Re: ~*~QOTD - MONDAY~*~
I'll crash.
We are doing blue, with orangy coral and white. well, tentatively at least. I knew I wanted blue BM dresses (see my avatar) and since the dress is a little different -- a more modern looking fabric -- we wanted flowers that stood out. We're getting married in Aug so bright is nice, so we decided on an orange/coral accent. (See my album for pix of the dress and tentative BM flowers)I think we're going to do white centerpieces with pale pale orange and coral accents. Maybe white and coral rosepetals lining the aisle, etc. I'm hoping to find some way to bring in small blue accents to the room.
I just want to find something cheerful, summery and a little different that still incorporates my fav color BLUE! We're not going over the top with the colors as a theme though

Re: ~*~QOTD - MONDAY~*~
I would have done pink (my fav color) but my sister did pink for her wedding. I was in a friends wedding in 06 and we tried on chocolate brown dresses and I LOVED them (we didn't wear that color). So I decided on chocolate brown with pink accents. I think it will go well with beach and all.

Re: ~*~QOTD - MONDAY~*~
I originally wanted to do black and white with silver accents but when we booked our RH I changed my mind b/c the room is all gold tones (I know it sounds crazy but I didn't want it to clash)I knew I wanted ivory, champagne and another color but I wasn't sure what the other color was going to be for a couple of weeks. I was thinking either purple, chocolate, or sage green but then one day Jillian (Anthonysgirl) suggested burgundy. I don't know why I never thought of it before but I instantly liked the idea. I ran it by FH and he actually responded to it (instead of his usual 'whatever you want is fine').
so my colors are burgundy, ivory, and champagne

Re: ~*~QOTD - MONDAY~*~
We are doing gold because it was the color of my prom dress (we went together - hs sweethearts!) and I loved it. Plus we both think it will look great in the winter, the flowers are pink and purple because 1- purple is my favorite color, 2- they go great with gold and 3 - since it's winter and it will be dark and gloomy we wanted really cheerful looking flowers to make the room really look cheery and bright.

We are doing lavender, wine, deep purple, and raspberry pink...I picked those colors because they are romantic and lush...and most of the halls I like have golden tones and I like how those colors play off of eachother.

Re: ~*~QOTD - MONDAY~*~
We are having a fall theme. I want bridesmaids in a deep red and brown. Flowers will be lots of reds, oranges and browns. Everything will have that fall theme, including programs, menus, placecard holders and table, etc. I love the fall, and since our wedding is in November, its perfect!

I am also doing black and white, I think I am going to go with November now and through in a touch of burnt orange. There was a black and white wedding where I work this past weekend and it was amazing!

We chose blue and white... just because its so easy to work with... and if its relaxed, and in the summer, it just goes with any theme...Plus, witht he blue we gave to having a small big of 'Greek' for both our families haha
