What is the most expensive thing you've ever bought for yourself? (Besides education and a car)...

I never get to spend money on myself:(
Last summer I actually bought myself a Coach bag (and it wasn't at the outlets...) and I am STILL riddled with guilt. Meanwhile, FH seems to buy new golf irons every other season! Not to mention a home theater surround system... for his BEDROOM! Why should I feel guilty?!

hmmm this is a hard one i dont buy myself much i am a saver.

Do vacations count????
Do weddings count????

if they do then my vacation to jamacia with one of my bfs for a week just the girls was about 2,000$

and of course we are paying for our own wedding it is for me but also for my fh so i guess this would not count.

If vacations count, than my week in Aruba - but that was like 12 years ago!!! My splurges are on household items (new kitchen) and work clothes. How boring!!

Aside from vacations...a Burberry bag. I bought while on vacation in London, which was stupid b/c I could have gotten the bag here for cheaper w/ the exchange rate!

My apartment (which I rent) is where all my $$ goes.

I did buy myself a new laptop..but only when it was on sale. My car would be the most expensive otherwise.

yeah id have to say my cruise last spring...if vacations count....if not...

I think the most expensive thing was a 400.00 watch...I had a few gift certificates that I used towards it though. And then next is a Coach Bag from Bloomies!!

I really don't buy much, and anything I want that's big FH usually buys for me. The most expensive thing was a used B&W condenser enlarger. My dad and FH were going to make me a basement darkroom, and I was reall excited, but it never happenned and this HUGE enlarger sits in the garage!
