Re: question to ask!!!!!!

I am not goign their for my HM, but I ahve been theri several times.

My brother stayed at the Polynesian and the WIlderness Lodge for his honeymoon and he loved both places.

My parents stayed in the Grand Floridian, and while nice, I liked the other hotels better.

I have personally stayed in Port Orleans, Dixie Landings, All Star Sports, Caribbean Beach Resort and Coranado SPrings.

All Star Sports was like 79 a night, when we went, and the other in the mid price range were 99, i think. Go on Mousesavers.com and you can get some codes to save some money.

Also joining the disney club can get you discounts.

Re: question to ask!!!!!!

FH and I went to disneyworld last january for 8 nights -We stayed at a savannah room at AKL- I booked and set up the entire vacation myself and paid considerably less than any travel agent or AAA could have given me.

Check out mousesavers - has ALL the discounts - hotel, packages, car rental etc.

Also check out dis boards - a posting board like this one

Finally check out this site deb willis - has pics, menus for ALL the restaurants at disney This site has a ton of things - but you can check out the menus to see where you want to get a PS.

FM me if you have any questions I would be happy to help you

Re: question to ask!!!!!!

I am not going there for hm either, but have been there many times.

Dixie landings (not called that anymore but it is still there) was my favorite- it wasn't as expensive, and it was really nice. also stayed at:
All Star- the cheapest but still nice.
Contemporary- I love to stay there but it is more pricey
Yacht and Beach club- nice too, but more expensive than dixie landings and I like dixie better

All the hotels are nice, even the cheaper ones.

Re: question to ask!!!!!!

We are going to Disney for half of our honeymoon and we are staying at the Polynesian.

My FI and I are big disney fans and have stayed at all the resorts and you'll be treated great at every one of them. My suggestions for a HM though would be either the Polynesian, Wilderness Lodge or Animal Kingdom Logde for deluxe resorts or Riverside or French Quarter for Moderate Resorts.

Tip though, look into how much you are paying for tickets for the 12 days. It might be beneficial for you to purchase an annual pass instead. The annual pass gives you big discounts on rooms. I think we spent about $370 for an annual pass and we got a 40% discount on the Polynesian.

Good luck and you'll have a great time!!!! If you have any questions, please ask.

Re: question to ask!!!!!!

My FH and I are going to disneyworld for our hM, but we are going to stay out of disney in Kissimmee. We are looking into Oak Plantation Resorts, I heard it was like having your own apartment with a bedroom, living room, full kitchen and washer & dryer. My friend stayed there for her HM and loved it.
