Re: Question....for you already married ladies??

it depends where your ceremony & reception is.

My ceremony was in Queens, my reception was on LI and we took pix at Oyster Bay Palnt. Fields.

We had 3 hrs in between & still ran late for our cocktail but the pics are so worth it!

Re: Question....for you already married ladies??

I think it also depends on what kind of photos you want and how many.

We didn't want to do a huge photo shoot in between the church and the reception. Our church was about 10 min. away. We finished the church at 11:40 and we were in our cocktail hour by 12:45. And we have plenty of really nice photos.

But that was what we wanted. You have to decide what you're looking for.

Re: Question....for you already married ladies??

For us, the picture taking time at the Gardens took about 1 hour and 15 minutes. That is what I estimated and that is what it ended up taking. So, I worked from there and added travel time to and from the Gardens. All worked out fine.

Re: Question....for you already married ladies??

depends on

1) how many pics you want
2) where you are taking them (location to reception hall)
3) how big your bridal party is (I had small bridal party and did not need as much time as I allowed but glad that I did because it gave us time to just relax in the bridal suite before the reception)

GOOD LUCK
