Save the Date Addressing Question

If you plan on inviting children to the wedding do you put Mr. & Mrs. xyz and family or just Mr. & Mrs. xyz on the label? Also, if you are undecided about inviting children is it ok to just do Mr. & Mrs. xyz or will they then assume children are not invited?

Thanks girls

Re: Save the Date Addressing Question

If you are undecided, just put the parents.

STD addressing can be informal.

Re: Save the Date Addressing Question

if you're not 100% decided, then just put the parents name. it's better to add people who didn't get a STD then to take people off who have gotten one (which is why we only sent to definites)!!!

Re: Save the Date Addressing Question

I would omit them on the STD if you are undecided, you can always add them later on. I didn't even send STD's to kids that I knew I was inviting, since they don't have to save the date, thier parents know their schedule.

Re: Save the Date Addressing Question

It was my thought that the parents will be the ones not to plan anything for the weekend of your wedding so they are the ones that should receive the invite. I would leave the kids off unless they are older like 16 or so. JMO
