Save the Date Addressing Question

I searched through some past threads about this but I am still unsure what to do. I have an aunt and uncle and 4 cousins that used to live under the same roof. Now 2 girls moved out and are married, one moved out and is livin with a significant other, and the 4th still lives at home with aunt and uncle. Question is, can I address the std to 'The XXX family'? or do I have to send out 5 cards?

P.S. - Our families talk a lot so they already know when the wedding is. But I don't want any of them to feel left out by not getting a card.......

Thoughts?

Re: Save the Date Addressing Question

I'm doing one per household. so if they don't live under the same roof id say send them their own. (thats what i'm doing anyway)

Re: Save the Date Addressing Question

I think the proper thing to do would be to send one out to each...but if you don't want to I guess you don't have to.

Re: Save the Date Addressing Question

im sure you could send one out for ' X family' since it is a save the date, but for the wedding each person should get there own invitation so theres no confusion..
