Save the Date...Addressing the envelopes

Did you hand write, use lables or hire someone?
How formal does it need to be?

Re: Save the Date...Addressing the envelopes

I haven't sent any out. The ones I've gotten in the mail were either handwritten or done on the computer (either labels or on the envelopes themsleves).

Personally, I don't feel that they need to be too formal. I didn't think anything of them being handwritten or typed. I'd do whatever is easiest for you!

I don't like the way labels look in general on envelopes, but if you found pretty labels with a design on them, that might be really nice! Of course, you can also do clear labels, which I think are nicer than the plain white ones.

Re: Save the Date...Addressing the envelopes

I printed directly onto the envelopes from my computer...did the same for the invitations...they came out really clean looking and there are some really pretty fonts that you can download for free
I think the formality would depend on the formality of the STD itself but in general I think it rule is less formal than invitations

Re: Save the Date...Addressing the envelopes

They don't need to be formal IMO. We hand-wrote out the envelopes.

Re: Save the Date...Addressing the envelopes

I hand wrote mine out. I was going to do labels and then said screw it, the invites will be the formal way.

Re: Save the Date...Addressing the envelopes

Not only did I hand write them, I used nicknames or whatever. No formality, no 'and guest' nothing.
