Should a bride request (picture question)

Pictures of her own parents to be taken at the reception? Or should a photographer know that they are important people (especially after meeting with them several times) and that taking only one picture is not enough?

No. A good, experienced (& reputable) photographer should have already knew this... Please dont tell me that you only have 1 picture of your parents.

Yep!

That is horrible! You should not have to remind your photographer that you want pictures with your immediate family. I am so sorry that happened to you. What did the photographer say to you when you questioned them?

Mel, I am so sorry to hear this. I didn't think it was THIS bad..

I do have to ask though, if there was any undue 'influence' by other 'forces' during the reception? do you think that's a possibility?

hhmmmm, I am sorry that happened. No, they should have done it on their own. We only had to request if there was any special tables or people that were not in the party, family pics, etc. that we definitely wanted photos of.
Maybe your guests took some nice photos of your parents and you could get some more copies.

Unfortunately, I think so. Certain people were up their azzes during my pictures (to the point of distraction).
